A very significant activity of this Institute is the organization of a tribal museum where the
collection of the various artifacts provides a vivid visual picture of the different facts of tribal
life, culture and art. The Institute's museum has occupied a significant place in the state for
promotion of tribal art. the museum has a photography section in which there are 4428 (35 mm) and
211 (120 mm) photographs from different tribal groups. This section has also 720 (35 mm) and 72
(120mm) coloured transparencies showing various aspects of tribal life. There is a good display
of life size photographs in the museum. The museum has also a film library which has about 25
films from different tribal areas of the country.
