At present the Institute has two-storied building, and the ground floor covers the museum.It has a training cum seminar hall with capacity of 85 persons. It is equipped with electronic equipments. There is a lack of space as the building was constructed in year 1965.
It has well equipped library with relevant books and journals. There are books on tribes, Anthropology, Sociology, Art and Craft and relevant reports. It has 13,500 books and monographs. The library books are used by researchers, Government officials, and University Scholars. Institute has computer lab with internet connection and have 15 computers for data entry operation.
